At the present time the Desert
Mail 3XS system does not work on a Macintosh/Apple operating systems.
A 56k V.90 modem is what
most Internet users have in their computer. That means that the fastest
speed you can achieve is about 53k. Often, you are lucky if you connect
at 40k. Many Internet users can connect at only 28.8k or 26.4k, even
with their 56k modems. This is due to many factors especially distance
from your telephone company’s switching station, line noise, line
splitters and improper modem installs. But with 3XS, we increase your
